Voices From The Journey

Our Testimonials

I sought advice from Dr Kennedy at a challenging career transition point. His advice was practical and pragmatic. He helped me realise which criteria were priorities for me in a new role in order to achieve the best outcome for my career progression and personal circumstances. He offered down-to-earth advice, working with me to recognise my true value, and weigh up my strengths against the areas I need to develop. Dr Kennedy offered advice that took a range of personal circumstances into consideration and counselled me to the point of contract-signing. I am very happy with the outcome of my engagement with him and have recommended his services to friends and family.

Every career decision matters, and your story of work is too important to leave to chance

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Dr Dave Kennedy during the infancy of my career. I was a victim of my own expectations and impatience and Dr Dave was the voice of reason I did not know I needed.

His advice and support helped me to better understand my career goals, how to approach them, and to understand the type of leader I wanted to be. I took the Strong Interest Inventory and Dr Kennedy great in helping me to interpret the results.
His methodical and personal approach, wealth of experience and sense of humour were a great combination in helping me to understand my vocational interests and the jobs/career paths that best suited me. I was impressed at the level of insight he provided me – he could speak my language!

Ultimately, with Dr Kennedy’s career counselling, I have been able to take control of my career and own my skills and leadership. I am grateful to him for his advice and support

Dear David,
Thank you for your efforts around vocational guidance for our children in recent times. As you know our son has recently graduated from high school and started university but was seeking confirmation that he had chosen the right course. Having met with you and following the methodical approach you took; it was clear that his selection and pursuit of his legal studies was in fact a very good choice for him.
On the other hand, our daughter was in a different place altogether. While she did very well in her HSC, she was struggling with her course selection at university – while she knew she had the ability she lacked the passion for the course. Having sought your guidance she changed her course and is now back studying and enjoying her selection. She is very confident she is now on the right educational/career path.
As parents, we are thankful for your input and guidance for both our children who are on distinctly different paths and ones that they are both positive about. We were particularly impressed that despite them being close siblings, your analysis demonstrated they have quite different vocational interests and therefore educational requirements. We would be happy to recommend your scientifically-informed career advice to any parent who has concerns or questions about their child’s educational/career choices
