Refund & Credit Note

I. What This Policy Covers 
This policy applies to clients who have purchased our services and wish to cancel the entire service/program due to a change of mind or circumstance. It outlines the terms for obtaining a refund or credit note. Please note that this policy is for client-initiated cancellations and is separate from our Money-Back Guarantee Policy, which covers issues related to service quality of our Clarity Kickstart Program or Strategic Hour consultation only. 

II. Eligibility Windows

  • Full Refund: A full refund will be granted for cancellation requests received within 24 hours of the original purchase date.
  • Credit Note: For cancellation requests made after 24 hours but within 30 days of the original purchase date, a credit note will be issued for the full value. This credit can be applied toward any future service with us.
  • No Refund or Credit: Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds or issue credit notes for any requests made more than 30 days from the original purchase date. 

III. How to Request a Cancellation (The Process) 

To initiate a refund or credit request, you must notify us by email at careerscience@careerscience.com.au within the eligibility periods stated above. Your request must include: 

  • Your full name.
  • The date of the original purchase.
  • The receipt or order number.
  • The reason for your cancellation.

IV. Processing Details 

  • Approved Refunds: Once your request is received and approved, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
  • Issuing Credit Notes: Credit notes will be issued via email within 5 business days of approval. The credit will be held on file under your name and will expire 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Denied Requests: Requests that do not meet the criteria outlined in this policy will be denied. You will receive an email notification explaining the reason for the denial. 

Money-Back Guarantee Refund Policy

I. Our Promise
We stand behind the quality of our Clarity Kickstart Program and Strategic Hour consultation. If after your session has been completed you are not satisfied with the experience, we offer a straightforward money-back guarantee.

II. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a refund under this guarantee:

  • You must have fully attended and completed the entire 1-hour session.
  • You must submit your refund request within 24 hours of the session’s conclusion.
  • You must provide feedback on the reason for your dissatisfaction.

III. How to Request a Refund 
Please submit your request via email to careerscience@careerscience.com.au within the eligibility period. Your email must include:

  • Your full name.
  • The date and time of your session.
  • The name of your session facilitator (if applicable). 
  • A brief explanation of why the session did not meet your expectations.

IV. The Process

  • Once we receive your request, we will review it to verify eligibility.
  • Upon approval, we will process a full refund to your original method of payment.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days (depending on your financial institution’s policies). 

V. Important Exceptions 
This guarantee is designed for client satisfaction and has specific limitations:

  • No Double-Dipping: This guarantee is void if you have previously received a refund for the same service under this policy.
  • Abuse: We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we believe this guarantee is being abused. This includes, but is not limited to, clients who repeatedly book and request refunds.
  • Scope: This guarantee applies only to Clarity Kickstart Program and Strategic Hour consultation and does not extend to packaged deals, multi-session packages, or any other services we offer.
